Domestic Violence Treatment

Our Domestic Violence (DV) program uses evidence-based clinical interventions and follows professional ethical principles in providing treatment and is based on methodologies developed by behavioral health professionals and supported by published research results. 

Number of Sessions

Except as provided in a court order, treatment includes, at a minimum, the following number of sessions, to be completed after the applicable offense for which the client was required to complete treatment:

1. For a 1st offense, 26 sessions
2. For a 2nd offense, 36 sessions
3. For a 3rd offense or any   subsequent offense, 52 sessions;

Length of Sessions

The duration of a session is:

1. For an individual session, not less than 50 minutes
2. For a group session, not less than 90 minutes and not longer than 180 minutes

Timeframe:

DV Program is supposed to be completed in not less than 3 months and no more than 12 months after the date the client begins treatment.

2. Pay DV Intake Fee - $150 (Counselor will tell you the number and types of sessions)

3. Pay DV Individual Session - $100 or 

4. Pay DV Group Session - $50 and
