Scope of Services

Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on the patient's condition.
Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examinations and diagnoses the patient's condition.
Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
Elicits and records information about patient's medical history.
Promotes health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for the prevention of disease.
Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize patients from infectious diseases.
Provides prenatal care to pregnant women and provides postnatal care to mothers and infants.
Refers patients to medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patient's well-being.
Works continually to ensure the deliverance of quality clinical care in a safe, efficient, competent, and effective manner.
Prepare records and reports as required to support services rendered by established procedures.
Attend and participate in patient care reports, patient care conferences, team conferences, professional staff conferences, and other appropriate professional activities.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge and skills in the methods and practices of physical health and related health disorders.
Knowledge and skills in the methods and practices of clinical assessment and intervention for individuals with physical health issues.
Knowledge and skills in the methods and practices of clinical program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Knowledge of applicable licensure, certification and accreditation standards.
Maintain appropriate clinical knowledge and skills, including the fundamentals regarding assessment and treatment of physical health.
Maintain proper licensure and certifications to provide services to Patients with physical health issues.
Earn adequate CEU’s to maintain licensure.
Maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and personal vehicle insurance as required by state law.
Always maintain professional relationship with Patients and staff.
Abide by the code of ethics of the professional discipline.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, peers and subordinates.
Ability to plan and carry out assigned responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional and ethical relationships with Patients in order to positively affect their treatment plans.
Ability to communicate in person and in writing and have excellent computer skills.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

A medical degree, and
A valid license issued by the Arizona Medical Board or the Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners,
Must be a medical doctor with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience
